Flavoring

We distinguish three main styles based on flavoring and production method:

Natural mead
The pure form of mead, where the flavor is shaped only by the type of honey, the honey-to-water ratio, and aging. No added fruits or spices—just the character of the honey.

Flavored mead
The classic mead base is complemented with fruits, spices, or herbs. These additions bring extra layers, while the honey remains the dominant backbone.

Craft fruit mead
A more modern style where part of the water is replaced with fruit juice during fermentation. Honey and fruit ferment together, resulting in a more intense and fuller fruit profile.
